Global Delegations
Western Sydney University deeply values its global partnerships and warmly welcomes delegation visits requests from our existing partners, as well as prospective partners with strong strategic alignment.
To ensure all visits are purposeful and well-planned, all requests must be submitted by completing the visitor request form at least four weeks prior to the proposed visit date, with all fields mandatory. Please email globalpartnerships@westernsydney.edu.au to obtain a copy of the Visitor Request Form. Upon submission, the Global Partnerships team will review the request and contact, via email, the nominated representative with the outcome and next steps. This process helps ensure that each visit is meaningful, aligned with mutual priorities, and supported by the most relevant Western Sydney University stakeholders.
Delegations led by Chancellors, Vice-Chancellors, Presidents or equivalent will be prioritised for engagement with the University’s Senior Executive Team. All other delegation visit requests will be assessed and, where appropriate, coordinated by the relevant Faculty, School or Research Institute.
We look forward to welcoming strategically aligned partners and prospective partners to Western Sydney University and to supporting visits that strengthen collaboration, deepen engagement, and create shared opportunities.

Associate Professor Brahmaputra (Brahm) Marjadi, Associate Dean, Global and Partnerships, Faculty of Heath
Brahm Marjadi, Associate Professor of Community Engaged Learning, has a medical degree from Indonesia with master’s and doctoral degrees in Public Health from Australia. He is based at the School of Medicine, where he previously served as the Community Engagement Lead for twelve years. In his career since 1996, A/Prof Marjadi has received multiple awards for his academic leadership in Community Engaged Learning and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Health and Medicine. He has served as a Board Member at the Public Health Association of Australia and the Australian and New Zealand Association for Health Professional Educators. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK) and a Fellow of the Public Health Association of Australia.

Associate Professor Ana Hol, Associate Dean, International, Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Science (ECS)
Associate Professor Ana Hol, PhD, is Associate Dean International in the Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Science at Western Sydney University. Her research and academic leadership focus on business transformation, technology implementation, user acceptance, STEM education, transnational program development, curriculum innovation, quality assurance and professional accreditation.
A/Prof Hol has received several awards for academic leadership and innovation, including the Australian Computer Society Digital Disruptor ICT Educator of the Year Award, the South East Asia Regional Computer Confederation Global ICT Educator of the Year Award, and the Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Award in Educational Leadership. She is an elected member of the Australian Computer Society AI in Society Committee, has served on the Australian Computer Society NSW Branch Executive Committee, and is a past president and now an Executive Committee member of the Australian Council of Professors and Heads of Information Systems. Her scholarly and professional work contributes to industry-engaged education, technology-enabled business change, curriculum transformation and the future of higher education.

Professor Adam Possamai, Associate Dean, Global and Partnerships and Advancement, Faculty of Social Sciences, Arts, Business, Education & Law (SABEL)
Adam Possamai FASSA GAICD is a Professor in Sociology and the International Secretary for the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia. He was a visiting Professor at the Graduate Centre of the City University of New York, the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris (twice), the Summer Institute of Hokkaido University (in remote), and Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. He currently represents Australasia on the Council of the International Society for the Sociology of Religion. He is a former President of the International Sociological Association’s Committee 22 on the Sociology of Religion, and an author and editor of close to 30 books and more than 120 refereed articles and book chapters.
