About My Wellbeing

There are opportunities for you to meet and socialise with students. It is worthwhile joining in some of the activities that Student Communities are promoting HERE. This will help you find some people who are also re-adjusting back into uni and also starting to build friendships again.

It is normal to miss your family and to feel distracted. It may be useful to talk to peers and friends about how you are feeling, connect on Talk Campus or you can contact your Western Success Advisor or access the wellbeing services to speak with a Welfare Officer or a Counsellor

Yes it is normal to feel uncertain, it can feel different and at times overwhelming when you are somewhere new. You will start to feel more comfortable when you connect with others, meet students and join in some of the student activities.

Yes, other students are also struggling, they are also looking for connection, friendship and will enjoy meeting new people, to help with the adjustment back to uni. There are many opportunities to connect with others. You can chat with your Western Success advisor and find those opportunities at WesternLife.
