Based on current Australian Government advice, fully vaccinated eligible visa holders will be able to travel to and from Australia without needing to apply for a travel exemption from 15 December 2021.

International students must be fully vaccinated with a TGA-approved or recognised vaccine. Students must consult the TGA website or Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade overseas vaccination guidelines for advice.

To prepare, students must carefully read the Study NSW Pre-departure and arrivals checklist.

International students who are returning under the NSW International Student Arrivals Pilot Plan will still travel to Sydney on their scheduled flights.
