Macquarie Government

As part of the ASX-listed Macquarie Telecom Group,  Macquarie Government provides cloud and cybersecurity solutions to Australian government.

Data centres in Canberra and Sydney deliver secure internet gateway (SIG) and secure cloud services to over 35 government agencies. The SIG and cloud is certified by the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) for classified PROTECTED data and workloads, and is built and maintained by over a hundred NV1 security-cleared engineers, supported by its Security Operations Centre (SOC). The SOC provides 24/7 proactive monitoring via a security incident and event management system. Macquarie Government understands the importance of cybersecurity and the complexities of handling vast amounts of data created by an increasingly connected world.

< In response to the federal government’s national Cyber Security Strategy, and with the focus on developing cybersecurity skills in Australia, Macquarie Government would like to encourage more young people, especially women, to train in this field. This scholarship is intended to encourage and inspire outstanding students in their learning and understanding of cybersecurity and the challenges to tackle cyber threats on a national scale./p>
