Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Citizenship:
- Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or eligible New Zealand Citizen**

Enrolment:
- continuing student
Program/s:
- the second or third year of an undergraduate Nursing degree (opens in a new window) at the Hawkesbury campus (opens in a new window)
Additional:
- demonstrate financial or other hardship as assessed by the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC)
Hawkesbury Foundation Ltd
The late Miss Dorothy Gilder provided a number of generous donations to the Hawkesbury Foundation to assist students studying nursing at the Hawkesbury campus. Her contribution helps several students each year, providing them with not only financial aid, but also encouragement in their studies.
Application and Selection Process
Applications are to be submitted through the Universities Admissions Centre. Shortlisted applicants, as determined by the UAC Equity Ranking, may be required to make a written submission in support of their application.

Continuing Eligibility Criteria
- Recipients must remain enrolled at Western.
- Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 4.
