GHD Refugee Scholarship for Women
$7,500 per year for duration of degree, up to four years
New or continuing students
Any degree in the School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics or the School of Business or the School of Social Sciences and Psychology at Western Sydney University
- be Australian citizens or permanent residents who have been granted a humanitarian visa, preferably within the last five years
- be female and must demonstrate equity considerations such as economic, social or other disadvantage, based on equity considerations(opens in a new window) as assessed by the University
Preference will be given to students undertaking degrees within the School of School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics that align with GHD's core business.
Applications and Selection Process
Applicants must provide a statement in support of their application indicating how they believe the scholarship will assist them with their studies and in their future career. This statement should give a sufficient explanation of the applicant's background and current circumstances to enable the University to judge their eligibility and merit.
