Where Is Home: Place, Belonging and Citizenship in the Asian Century

Where Is Home: Place, Belonging and Citizenship in the Asian Century, is a two-day workshop examining the transformations of place-making and cultural citizenship in the era of Asian influence.

The workshop is being run by the Institute for Culture and Society in collaboration with Hong Kong Baptist University (opens in a new window), the University of Amsterdam (opens in a new window)and the International Institute for Asian Studies (opens in a new window).

It will be held Friday 22 and Saturday 23 March at Hong Kong Baptist University.

Professor Ien Ang is a keynote speaker at the workshop and PhD student Kearrin Sims will also present. Dr Sonja van Wichelen is an organiser.
