Who we are and what we do

Partnership Teams

The HR Partnership Teams work with a portfolio of units to provide a full service in the establishment and management of all staffing and employee requirements.

From the setting up of new positions or occupancy, creation and maintenance of all employee records and the provision of advice related to any aspect of our enterprise agreements or policies, these teams are set up to provide a holistic service to our business partners within the University.

Operations Teams

The HR Operations teams support all areas of the University from the setting up of new positions or occupancy, creation and maintenance of all employee records, assistance with the Casual Employment processes, payroll enquiries, leave bookings and adjustments and various other HR related processes.

Payroll, Remuneration and Superannuation Services

The Payroll, Remuneration and Superannuation Services team deal with all aspects of Superannuation and Payroll for University employees.

HR Information Systems

The HR Information Systems team looks after Staff Online, My Career Online (including Compass), OrgPlus, Alesco HRMIS and Alesco Forms.

HR Projects

The HR Projects team administer such events as the University Awards, Professional Staff Conference, Academic Promotions, Academic Development Program, Vice-Chancellor's Professional Development Scholarships, Western Sydney University Staff Postgraduate Coursework Study Scholarships,  Senior Management Group Conference, the Strategy Forum and various other ad-hoc events.  As well as this, they ensure that all new staff receive their new starter packs as well as administering the Service Recognition Awards.
