Workshop for Researchers in Transition and Retention

Staff are invited to join Associate Professor Simon Bedford, PVC Learning Futures, for a workshop on transition and retention data and research organised by the Transition and Retention Pedagogy (TaRP) Working Party of the Senate Education Committee. The workshop will include a presentation by Associate Professor Jo-Anne Chuck and Leanne Yard on accessing and interpreting transition and retention data, data-driven decision making, and an overview of data available. This will be followed by brief presentations from current Western researchers investigating transition and retention through the START Program of Research. The START Program of Research has been established to encourage and support academic research into student transition, progression and retention at Western.
