ThemeStorm: Education and Aspirational Change

The event is open to researchers from across Schools and Institutes and other units within the University. The day will feature short talks (approx. 5-10 minutes) from registered participants, a guest speaker, and a concluding discussion on directions for industry collaborations. The aims of the ThemeStorm are to: showcase internally the diversity and depth of university research in this area; identify current links with industry and potential for future engagement; and provide an opportunity for researchers in this area to get to know one another and hatch some research ideas together! This internal forum will be the springboard to externally focused forums with industry from February 2017.
