Nominations are open between 1 Aug and 12 Aug for student representative positions including, Student Representative Council members (x24 - check eligibility criteria), Student Editors of student news (x6), and National Union of Students conference delegates (x7).
There are currently no School and University level Academic Governance Committees with student elections, however, please check the website and student email for advice as elections are held at various times throughout the calendar year.
Participation in governance and representation is an invaluable experience, allowing you to:
- play a key role in university decision-making, student life, and activities,
- build a range of skills well regarded by employers, and
- provide a student voice on behalf of your peers.
Nominations close at 4 pm, Friday 12 August.
Following the nomination period, ballots are due to be held from 9 am, Monday 5 September to 4 pm Friday 16 September 2022 for any contested positions.
There will not be a ballot for positions that remain vacant, are uncontested or that are being filled by expressions of interest.
