This public talk reflects on the intercultural differences between Aboriginal people and English-speaking Australians, and will help explain various cultural differences and how to approach them positively. Using intercultural communication theory, Dr Ping Yang will critically review the various differences in intercultural verbal communication and intercultural nonverbal communication among the two different cultural members. Dr Yang is a Senior Lecturer in Linguistics and an Academic Course Advisor for MA in TESOL in the School of Humanities and Communication Arts at Western Sydney University. FREE.
