Taronga Zoo Trip Day: Saturday Date: 29th January 2022 Cost: $45 Departure: 8.45am from shuttle bus stop in front of EA & EB, on the Parramatta South Campus Return: Approximately 5.00pm return drop off. Trip Includes: Air conditioned vehicle/return transfers to/from Parramatta Campus Experienced driver guide - for the duration of the day $20.00 per person lunch voucher Entry into Taronga Zoo Come and enjoy, visit and see International and Australian animals. Enjoy various Zookeeper talks including Meerkats and Elephants. Enjoy the views from Bradley’s Head. Discover an incredible world of wildlife, from savannahs to jungles, rivers to oceans, right here at Taronga Zoo Sydney. With over 4,000 animals and 350 species there's plenty to see and do during your visit. Taronga Zoo Sydney welcomed a litter of five African Lion Cubs for the first time in 18 years! The cubs, who arrived mid-August, are healthy, inquisitive and growing every day. You can see mum, Maya, and the five Lion Cubs at Taronga Zoo Sydney's African Savannah exhibit. Don't miss out on Seals for the Wild presentation or Free Flight Birds, running daily, free with your Zoo entry. Taronga cares for over 4,000 animals from over 350 species, many of which are threatened. Find out which fascinating animals you might meet on your visit and how we're contributing to global efforts to save species from the brink of extinction. So come along enjoy the day and buy your ticket for what will be a great day. You will be required to wear a mask during the bus transfers between Campus and the Zoo and other venues during the day, so please bring one with you. Be prepared – you may be required to wear a mask anytime. The NSW Government has advised that COVID-19 spreads more easily indoors and in settings where you can’t physically distance, so it is important you carry a face mask with you at all times. Face masks are mandated as outlined by the NSW Government. Please also note that we continue to keep the latest government and health advice and University Policies in mind when planning each event. We are strictly adhering to guidelines for our activities.
