Description

The School of Engineering, Design & Built Environment will be hosting the 33rd Australasian Association for Engineering Education (AAEE) Conference between 4 & 7 December 2022 at the Peter Shergold building at 1PSQ, Parramatta.

Titled, Future of Engineering Education, the conference will bring together representatives from the higher education sector and engineering industry to strategically plan the way forward for engineering institutions in the ensuing years. More than 300 authors from 14 countries across the globe will participate in the conference.  Prominent educational experts from Australia, UK and USA will make keynote presentations.

A series of oral presentation and workshop sessions have been scheduled. These sessions have been divided along the following broad themes.

  • COVID-19 and education
  • Digital tools in education
  • Diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Educational skills and curricula
  • General engineering education
  • Engineering practice
  • Indigenous engineering
  • Industry needs
  • Professional skills and employability
  • Student engagement

A round table discussion on Women in Engineering and a book launch on indigenous engineering have also been scheduled.
