Highlights from our 2019 Research Symposium

Our Institute is home to an amazing group of talented staff and students from all over the world. About every two years, the Institute stages a Research Symposium Day, an opportunity to hear from each other in a range of talks and presentations from one minute up to around 12 minutes each. It's just the right blend of detail and inspiration to make those connections and share our progress.

We would like to thank the three PhD students whose energy and ideas made this day happen. We are grateful to James Bickerstaff, Ximena Cibils Stewart and Natascha Weinberger for championing this idea and encouraging everyone to be part of the day. Thanks also to Associate Professor Scott Johnson, Professor Ben Smith, Professor Peter Keller from the MARCS Institute and Prof Paul James from the Institute for Culture and Society for support and for guest presentations.
