Dr Jinyan (Jim) Yang is a Research Fellow in the Ecosystem Function and Integration research theme. He is an ecological modeller with broad interests on plant community and ecophysiological processes as well as their responses to climate change.
His current research investigates the modelling of the responses of Australian grassland phenology to rainfall variability. This project is supported by an ARC Discovery fund under the supervision of Prof Belinda Medlyn, Prof Sally Power, Prof David Tissue, and Prof Elise Pendall.
