Vera Brinkel

Vera BrinkelVera Brinkel is the Project Coordinator for the Cumberland Plain Conservation Plan Research Program Implementation Strategy.

She provides high-level project coordination and administrative support, including the management of research activities associated with the delivery of this grant and supporting lead investigators and stakeholders through reporting, liaising and facilitating the sharing of knowledge.

Vera holds a Master of Arts degree in German and British/American English Language and Literature Studies as well as a nationally accredited tertiary qualification in business administration. She has extensive experience working as administrator and project coordinator in various industries, including more than 11 years at the University of Sydney.

As Project Coordinator, Vera is responsible for:

  • post-award grant administration; progress tracking; milestone reporting; income and expenditure monitoring;
  • managing marketing, communication and outreach activities;
  • supporting research activities; managing travel and logistics;
  • stakeholder engagement; event management; coordination of outreach activities.
