Supervising research candidates is one of the most rewarding experiences of academic life. Research candidates are enthusiastic members of the Western Sydney University community and are an important part of ensuring our continuing research success.

Research candidates require specialist advice, training and assistance from experienced researchers to guide them towards achieving success in their studies and on to their future careers.

The Graduate Research School has developed a HDR Supervisor Training vUWS site(opens in a new window) that includes information about HDR administration, candidature management and the examination process, as well as guidance around supervision best practice. All academic staff can access this site with their staff login.
