This webpage is for organisations that currently have an agreement with Western Sydney University.

Go Global Application Portal

All students must registered on the Western Sydney University Go Global Portal Portal, prior to participating an overseas program (virtual/in-country). The Go Global Application Portal is a web-based platform that provides dedicated webpages (brochures) and an online application process for students. The platform is integrated with Banner and keeps a comprehensive record of all mobility projects across the university (in-country or online). The platform:

  • Provides individual mobility projects with a dedicated webpage and application process
  • Keeps a comprehensive record of all students interested in Learning Abroad
  • Enables students to acknowledge conditions of participation and comply with several policies and conditions, set by the University and DFAT. This includes New Colombo Plan and COVID-19 protection requirements.
  • Instructs students about Conduct, Sexual Exploitation and Harassment, Child Protection, Bullying and Cyber-Harassment, Mental Health and more
  • Provides project leaders and relevant International Partners with real time information and regularly updates on applications
  • Collects mandatory information for University and Government reporting

If you have an opportunity that could be listed and advertised, submit a brochure request here. For examples see the Go Global Portal.

Service Level Indicators

Student Satisfaction

For each program completion, a student satisfaction report is required, rating the quality and value of the experience..

Staff satisfaction including engagement with Schools/Institutes and Western Sydney International Office

  • Provide prompt advice and recommendations to Schools/Institutes.
  • Provide regular articles for the Go Global News, student and staff editions about programs, presentations, and webinars.

Timely provision of reports to the University

Provide regular updates to Western staff about programs and student participation.

Special Condition

Students must be encouraged to register on the Western Sydney University Go Global Portal, prior to participating in a program. Regular updates will be provided to the partner about student registrations
