The Go Global Application Portal

Western Sydney University has implemented the Go Global Application Portal, a web-based platform that provides dedicated learning abroad program brochures for each opportunity available to students. The platform:

  • Is integrated with Banner and keeps a comprehensive record of all mobility projects across the university (in-country or online).
  • Provides real time information and regularly updates on applications including mandatory information for University and Government reporting
  • Enables students to acknowledge conditions of participation and comply with several policies and conditions, set by the University and DFAT. Some of these include Sexual Exploitation Abuse and Harassment (SEAH)Child Protection Modern Slavery, Environmental and Social Safeguard and Foreign Interference.
  • Depending on the activity, students may be required to complete an individual risk assessment, which is part of the travel registration process (see below).

For registration purposes and to adequately address risk concerns, all students participating in learning abroad experiences, must submit an application for Learning Abroad activity via the Go Global Application Portal.
