Free Study Tour of Japan  – all expenses paid for one lucky student!

The Mitsui Educational Foundation (MEF) established in 1971 to build stronger ties and promote mutual understanding and friendship between Japan and Australia, are running their annual study tour. MEF will select 8 students from 8 universities to participate in the program.

One lucky student from Western Sydney University will be selected to participate in this program in 2022.

This 21-day study tour will provide a balanced experience of corporate, traditional, and contemporary Japanese culture. You will travel to cities like Kyoto, Hakone, and Tokyo, visit successful corporations like Toyota and Nippon Steel, and even get to experience life living with a Japanese family.

Best of all, this program is fully funded and paid for by MEF! This means you won’t have to worry about any fees, as all transport, accommodation, insurance, and transfer costs will be handled by MEF. So, all you need to do is make sure you meet the eligibility criteria and apply for the program via the Go Global brochure.

Go Global Program of Interest to Indigenous Students

Dia Dhuit Ireland

Travel to the picturesque Ireland in the British Isles, inhabited by the Muintir na hÉireann or Irish people, who have lived on the Island they call Éire for well over 1000 years. Irish culture has influenced much of the food, traditions, and even language of Ireland and its surrounding nations. The Irish language (known as Gaeilge) is one of the oldest of the Celtic languages and has survived despite suffering linguistic discrimination.  Ireland is a beautiful place to visit to see how other communities are preserving their language like First Nation Australians, as well as a great opportunity to meet other students and learn about Irish culture.

Grants and Scholarships are available to financially support your Go Global experiences, and you can talk to a Go Global Advisor to discuss your interests and future plans. Contact the Go Global team by submitting an enquiry or booking an individual advising session.
