People learn in different ways. Knowing how you learn can help you get the best out of your studies at university.

What’s your learning type?

  • Visual: When information is presented as symbols such as pictures, diagrams, or videos.
  • Auditory: Hearing information vocally. Learning from dictation, podcasts, and videos.
  • Kinaesthetic: Hands-on learners, who like to be physically engaged to learn.
  • Reading/writing: Learning from written words. Information will be large text such as written handouts, journal articles and books.
