The Earth needs graduates like you



You will study developing innovative policy and strategies that address the increasingly complex causes of today's environmental problems. Issues include urban development, global climate change, persistent organic pollutants (POPs), decreasing biodiversity, and deteriorating air and water quality.

Practical experience

In your final year of study, you will undertake a real-world project for a professional client in a selected area of environmental management. The project provides you with first-hand professional experience in project management and problem solving. You also complete 10 weeks or equivalent of general placement.

Develop your knowledge of biodiversity, management of aquatic environments, comparative physiology, ecology, toxicology, aquatic ecology; invertebrate biology and more.

Develop your knowledge of biodiversity, cell biology; wildlife, management of aquatic environments, ecology, genetics, botany, conservation biology and more.

Develop your knowledge of wildlife, invertebrate biology and vertebrate biodiversity and gain valuable skills in enterprise leadership, environmental regulation and policy, environmental risk management and more.

*The tuition fees quoted above are the fees for the normal full-time study load of the program (80 credit points) per annum, unless the total duration of the program is less than 80CP. International students will be subject to a variable fee regime; i.e. enrolled students will be required to pay fees during their program based on the approved fee for each calendar year. Fee changes (if any) will occur at 1 January each calendar year. Students who extend their program past the normal finish date of the program will be required to pay additional fees based on the prevailing fee level. Western Sydney University is a multi-campus institution.
