Surgery at Western

The Graduate Diploma aims to develop a theoretical framework which can be applied in a clinical setting to help assess, plan and perform gynaecological surgery.
There is an emphasis on the principles of surgical techniques with respect to gynaecological anatomy, physiology and pathology.

You will analyse biostatistics relating to gynaecological surgery to assist in reviewing the clinical literature, cases and outcomes. This course is expected to take 1-year full time to complete.

On completion of the Graduate Diploma in Advanced Gynaecological Surgery, students who meet the admission requirements for the Master of Surgery (Advanced Gynaecological Surgery) may apply for entry.

*The tuition fees quoted above are the fees for the normal full-time study load of the course (80 credit points) per annum. International students will be subject to a variable fee regime; i.e. enrolled students will be required to pay fees during their course based on the approved fee for each calendar year.
