Lead the STEM future
It’s been said that the best way to predict the future is to create it. At Western, we agree but we also think another way is to teach it.
With a greater reliance on technology and science, and the increasingly fast pace of change, it’s important that primary-school teachers like you are equipped with the skills and knowledge to teach the students of the future.
Teachers completing this program will also develop skills in leading interdisciplinary teams to promote and deliver STEM programs in primary schools, and a strong understanding of the importance of research evidence to inform their teaching in STEM. The program is suitable for primary and lower secondary science, mathematics, or design and technology teachers.
