Crime Scene House
Forensics majors can collect evidence and investigate realistic crime scenes at Western’s world-class training and research facility, Crime Scene House. Facilities include:
- Imaging lab for recording and analysing images
- Instrumentation lab with a glass analysis system
- Polarisation microscopy systems to examine, for example, hairs and fibres
- Development systems for detecting fingerprints on various surfaces
- Specialised forensic light sources
- Cutting-edge forensic photography technologies
