If teaching is your ambition, a Bachelor of Business (Pathway to Teaching) Secondary is the first step on your path to a Master of Teaching (Secondary) and a rewarding career as an inspiring high school teacher. This degree gives you a solid foundation in accounting, marketing, management, international business, modern history, geography, urban studies, and economics.
Bachelor of Business Pathway
If you have a completed a Bachelor of Business from Western Sydney University, you will receive guaranteed entry into the Master of Business Administration, and be eligible for 40 credit points (cps) to be applied to your university record.
Financial Training Lab
The School of Business officially launched our bespoke, state-of-the-art, Financial Training Lab on 1 March 2023.
Our Financial Trading Lab will play many roles in the fabric of Western Sydney and will be integrated into our learning and teaching, research, external engagement, and outreach. The Lab will complement our efforts to produce employment-ready and future-proof graduates and will provide our students with knowledge, hands-on experience, tools, and competencies to analyse, interpret, and synthesise real-time financial information. It will meet industry demand by upskilling, reskilling, and cross-skilling working adults in the region. The Financial Training Lab will also play a significant role in promoting and developing financial literacy in the community with the aim of inclusive economic growth. Our School Fintech colleagues have been undergoing training on the Lab's software and features and teaching has commenced in the Lab.
