BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply project management skills and knowledge in a variety of contexts, across a number of industry sectors. The job roles that relate to this qualification may include Project Manager and Project Team Leader.

Individuals in these roles have project leadership and management roles and are responsible for achieving project objectives. They possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical and managerial competencies to initiate, plan, execute and evaluate their own work and/or the work of others.
 

  • Location
    Sydney Olympic Park Campus or Virtual Classroom.
  • Mode of Delivery
    The course is delivered using a blended learning model, combining face to face and self-paced learning with online support.
  • Course Duration
    This course comprises of 12 Workshops held over a 12-month period.
    Workshops are delivered on campus or via our virtual classroom.
    Students should also allow for 20-25 hours of self-guided learning per week
    Time to complete the course may vary depending on experience and support needs.

What you need to study

Entry Requirements

Students should have a Year 12 High School Certificate or equivalent to meet the LLN requirements of the course. Anyone without a Certificate will be required to complete a LLN assessment to ensure you have the level of skills and experience to complete the training program.

Assessments

You will be required to complete knowledge based and practical assessments, these may include:

  • Question and Answers
  • Written Reports
  • Presentations
  • Projects
  • Demonstration in the workplace or in a simulated workplace environment

Students studying online, may be asked to submit
videos as evidence of the application of practical skills.

Recognition of Prior Learning

You may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Credit Transfer (CT) provided you have supporting evidence of any prior education and work experience.

This can either reduce your study load or shorten the duration of your course.
