The Procurement Team supports the University in achieving responsible, sustainable, and value-for-money outcomes through the provision of strategic procurement and commercial expertise.

Working in partnership with stakeholders across the University, the team provides advice and guidance to support informed decision-making, effective planning, and the delivery of procurement activities that align with the University’s governance frameworks, risk appetite, and strategic objectives.

Through strong commercial and procurement practices, the team supports the University to make informed decisions, manage supplier relationships effectively, and achieve the best possible value from its expenditure.

The team plays a key role in strengthening procurement capability across the University by promoting better purchasing practices, supporting sound contract and supplier management, and embedding consideration of sustainability, risk, and long-term impact into procurement decisions.
