The Team seized the moment to conceive, design and manufacture face shields through laser cutting approved as entry in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods No. 339185 on 8th July, 2020. Western face shields are cheaper to produce, assembled without the use of tools, and the contour of the padding allows space for a face mask to be worn and passed the AS/NZS 1337.1 splash test.
