The Equity and Diversity training and education programs focus on informing staff and students of their equal opportunity rights and responsibilities and the promotion of inclusive practices.

EO Online is a self-paced, interactive equity training program designed specifically for higher education employees. It provides information about legislation on equal opportunity, discrimination, harassment and bullying and has links to the relevant Western Sydney University policies and procedures.
The program aims to promote an inclusive work environment and raise awareness of equity and diversity issues in higher education. As an employer WSU has an obligation to provide staff with this information and as an employee you need to know and understand laws relevant to your employment.
The course consists of two modules. All employees are expected to complete Module 1. Managers and supervisors should work through both Module 1 and Module 2. Training should be refreshed by all staff at least every 2 years to maintain currency of knowledge.
