International World Day of Social Justice
20 February is the International World Day of Social Justice.
What is social justice?
Social justice refers in general to the idea of building a society based on principles of equity and non discrimination that understands and values human rights. The United Nations recognises that 'a society for all' must be based on such principles.
At Western Sydney University we hold inclusiveness and equity of access as fundamental values to the way we work and study together and we encourage you to celebrate the day by making these values a part of the way you live.
