Energy 2023

225,133 Gigajoules (GJ) of energy¹ (in scopes 1 and 2) was consumed² across all campuses, comprising:

174,128 GJ (77%) from low carbon (renewable) sources including 166,366 GJ electricity from renewable grid (GreenPower) and 3,988 GJ from solar production
46,005 GJ (20%) from natural gas, 480 GJ (<1%) from non-renewable electricity and 4,520 GJ (2%) from liquid fuels (petrol, diesel etc).
