The Disability Support Guide provides a number of CALD services for each state of Australia. CALD services offer support such as advocacy, organising bilingual carers and providing culturally specific resources. It can improve inclusiveness within your community and support you to achieve your goals.

The National Ethnic Disability Alliance (opens in a new window)

The National Ethnic Disability Alliance (NEDA) advocates for the human rights of people with disability and their families from a culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) and non - English speaking backgrounds (NESB). It is run by CALD people with disabilities. It is a non government organisation funded by the Department of Social Services (DSS).

CoAct (opens in a new window)

CoAct delivers disability management services and employment support services for CALD people with a disability. It is designed to support and prepare CALD people with disability in providing employment opportunities and improving workplace diversity.

Settlement Services International (opens in a new window)

The Settlement Services International (SSI) supports all people who have experienced vulnerability including refugees, people seeking asylum and culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities to build capacity and enable them to overcome inequality. They operate locally, nationally, and internationally with officers in metro and regional Queensland, NSW and Victor.  SSI provides support to ensure meaningful social and economic participation in everyday life.
