Research Excellence Awards

Western Sydney University staff and students are invited to nominate current University staff who have shown excellent achievements in one of the following research categories:

Vice-Chancellor's Excellence Awards

• Excellence in Research – Researcher of the Year Award
• Excellence in Research – Early Career Researcher Award
• Excellence in Postgraduate Research, Training and Supervision Award

Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Research, Enterprise and Global) Research Awards

• Research Excellence through Industry Collaboration or Partnership Award
• Excellence in Research Impact Award
• Excellence in Research Leadership and Development Award
• Excellence in Research Management Award
• Excellence in Globalisation Award
• Excellence in Indigenous Research Award

Individual winners of the Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Awards will receive $4,000 and winning teams will receive $6,000 for a team of two or $8,000 for a team of three or more.
