GoMAD - Go Make a Difference @ Western Sydney

This unique 21st Century Curriculum (21C) Project is a sustainability learning program for Western Sydney University students is recognised by and in partnership with the United Nations University Regional Centres of Expertise (UNU RCE) regional and global stakeholders. Co-created with UNU RCE, Sustainable Futures, a cross school academic working group across 5 schools and 5 student partners, the 21C Global Sustainability Graduate Award (working title) includes three main curriculum elements.

  1. A new online Sustainability Bootcamp which will be available to all Western students from Autumn 2019. Sign up today and give your feedback for your chance to win $1,000 worth of prizes.
  2. A new multi-disciplinary sub-major – the 21C Advantage 'Global Sustainability' submajor – available from 2020.
  3. GoMAD! This submajor features a unique embedded ‘social action’ unit offering students a suite of recognised ‘social action’ projects intended to bring about social change benefitting individuals, communities or society.

Join the information session and free yoga class on your campus as we launch our new online Global Sustainability offering, the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030. Interest? Sign up for our pilot!

We are seeking interested students from any degree program to sign up and undertake the Sustainability Bootcamp pilot via vUWS for your chance to win up $500 of gift cards and more. If you are interest please complete the registration form below. Registration close on 9 September 2018. You will be expected to complete all learning modules (approximately 3 hours) and complete an short online survey at the conclusion providing your critical feedback. Feedback forms are due for submission on 31 October and winners will be drawn in mid-November.
