DOMTRU at the Australian Diabetes Congress

Congratulations on DOMTRU's success at the Australian Diabetes Congress

DOMTRU researchers led by Distinguished Professor David Simmons (SoM, THRI) with two summer scholarship students, Tasmin Amin (SoM) and Stephanie Hannah (SoHS), represented the University at the 2022 Australian Diabetes Congress.

Professor Simmons (shown above - left) was awarded the ADS Jeff Flack Diabetes Data award. This award recognizes an Australian researcher who has made an outstanding contribution to Diabetes Data Collection in Australia.

Dr Uchechukwu Levi Osuagwu (BRCS, THRI) (shown above - right) was nominated for an award for his poster on the findings from a 25year long audit of primary care in Auckland. PDF, 174 KB (opens in a new window)

Stephanie Hannah presented her research project on Obesity trends and relationship with dietary behaviour from the Crossroads data in Victoria.
