Study Spaces

Western is taking important steps to ensure the wellbeing and safety of our students, staff and the community.

If you need to come on campus for a space to study or to access the WiFi, please note the following locations that are available.


Libraries

All libraries reopened on Monday 25 October 2021, in alignment with the University’s return to campus plan. Please check the Library Opening Hours webpage  to check opening hours’ information at each library location.  

The Library Study Hall on Bankstown, Campbelltown, Parramatta South and Penrith campuses is open from 5pm to 9pm on weekdays and 12pm to 4pm on weekends until 14 November.

Your current Western ID card is required to swipe/tap access to enter all libraries. Masks and physical distancing measures will remain in place. For more details, please visit the Library website.


Study Halls

As well as the Library, additional ‘Study Halls’ will be available from 9am to 9:30pm, 7 days a week. This is to provide additional spaces for students to study and access Wi-Fi. These will be available on the following campuses:
