Course overview

In business accounting knowledge is essential as all managers and executives must understand the importance and significance of accounting reports. The Bachelor of Accounting will provide you with an in-depth knowledge of accounting, supported by the associated disciplines of law, economics, finance and statistics. The degree is unique in its scope and coverage offering a qualification in accounting and the opportunity to broaden your knowledge base with elective units from other disciplines.

Recommended sequence

At Sydney City Campus, you can complete your three year bachelor’s degree in as little as two years and enter the workforce sooner. A bachelor’s degree usually consists of 24 units. With our flexible academic calendar, you can study 12 units in one year over three sessions. However, we recommend that you undertake a maximum of 3 units per session so that your study load is not too demanding.
