Once you’ve been accepted your offer, it’s time to get to know your new campus. At Sydney City Campus, Orientation is usually the week before the Session starts. Please remember that attendance is compulsory for all students.

ON-CAMPUS ORIENTATION DETAILS (COMPULSORY):

Date: 28 or 29 February 2024
Time: 9.30 am - 3.30 pm
Location: Level 2, 255 Elizabeth Street, Sydney

You must attend the orientation if you are studying one of the following programs :

  • Bachelor of Accounting
  • Bachelor of Business
  • Bachelor of Information and Communications Technology
  • Bachelor of Information Systems
  • Master of Information and Communications Technology
  • Bachelor of Communication
  • Bachelor of Social Science

29 February 2024
You must attend the orientation if you are studying one of the following programs :

  • Bachelor of Health Science
  • Master of Health Science
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Engineering Science

Classes start on Monday 4 March 2024.

If you have enrolled after this time, you will receive all the information provided during the orientation once you have accepted your offer.


What to expect on orientation day?

  • When you arrive on campus go up to level 2. One of our friendly staff members or student volunteers will guide you with registration.
  • You will receive a welcome bag after registration.
  • You can walk around and visit the stalls, and grab a free coffee.
  • Volunteers will then guide you to the information sessions. You will receive important information about your course, and academic and student support services available to you on campus.
  • Grab lunch, play games and chat with fellow students. Talk to our current student leaders and ambassadors. You can also join!
  • Go on a guided tour around the campus.
  • You will then receive important information about your individual program and meet your Program Convenor who will be able to guide you with any course related enquiries.
  • You will also have the opportunity to enrol in your subjects and check your timetable if needed. We strongly recommend that you complete your enrolment before orientation.
  • Apply for your student card and collect it after your course commences.

Remember, ask lots of questions! If in doubt, go to the reception on Level 4 and speak to one of our friendly staff! We look forward to seeing you on campus.
