The Centre for Infrastructure Engineering has a high level of research expertise and well-equipped research facilities with Research Academics that are at the forefront of research in their fields and are experienced in directing research projects. CIE attracts high achieving students who wish to specialise in fields related to civil, electrical, mechanical or materials engineering in the context of Infrastructure Engineering, providing them with a supportive and successful intellectual environment to excel in.
