InPlace - Respond to an opportunity offer

After you’ve applied or registered for an opportunity, your application goes through a review process. If your application is successful. you may receive a direct offer with an agency. The offer appears as a notification and a To Do item for your response. Your application status also changes to Offered pending your response. You must accept or reject the offer before its expiry date.

Note: If you do not respond by the offer expiry date, the offer will expire and your application will be considered declined.

Steps

1. Do either of the following:

• if you receive an opportunity offer in your To Do list, open the item.
• on your Available page open the relevant opportunity.

2. Read the offer details carefully.

3. Use the buttons at the bottom of the page to accept or decline the offer.

4. If you decline the offer, it will be removed from your To Do list and your application for the opportunity will be considered declined.
