Instructions for presenters
Review the following guidelines to ensure a smooth and successful presentation.
General guidelines
- Arrive at your session room at least 10 to 15 minutes early and introduce yourself to the session chair.
- All presentations must be delivered in person.
- Bring your presentation on a USB drive and upload it to the session laptop before the session starts. You can also use your own laptop for the presentation.
Presentation timing
- Full papers: 25-minute presentation + 5-minute Q&A
- Short papers: 12-minute presentation + 3-minute Q&A
- Doctoral Symposium: 25-minute presentation + 5-minute Q&A
- SCALE Challenge: 15-minute presentation + 3-minute Q&A
- Poster papers: 10-minute presentation + 2-minute Q&A
- Workshop papers: Follow instructions from workshop organisers
Poster presentations
- Poster boards will be provided on-site.
- Recommended poster size: A0 portrait (841 x 1189 mm) or A1 portrait (594 x 841 mm).
- Set up your poster on the first day and remove it on the last day.
- Authors are expected to be present during the assigned poster session for discussion.
- Doctoral Symposium participants are expected to present their work as a poster during the conference.
Online presentations
If you're unable to attend in person, contact the organising committee and provide supporting documentation explaining your situation.
We'll review your request and do our best to arrange an online presentation option for your allocated session.

Note that the conference is designed as an in-person event, and hybrid participation will not be available beyond the specific time slot allocated for your presentation.
