What is CareerHub?

CareerHub is our online noticeboard where students can access Careers' services, resources and opportunities. Students need to register to use CareerHub (opens in a new window).

Where to direct miscellaneous and general career related queries?

All careers and employment enquiries can be directed to our friendly and professional Staff. Contact us by phone on 02 4736 0424, by email, or in the 'Ask us a Question' (opens in a new window) tab in CareerHub.

How do students access career advice?

Students and graduates can get career advice from our expert careers consultants either face to face or over the phone. Students can book appointments (opens in a new window) on CareerHub or by calling us on 02 4736 0424.

What careers related workshops are available?

Careers run multiple weekly workshops on: how to address selection criteria; interview skills; cover letter and resume writing; and how to find a job/internship/industry experience. View the workshop schedule and click on a workshop that interests you.

What careers resources are available and where are they located?

Career resources can be accessed and downloaded from CareerHub (opens in a new window). Some popular resources include Resume & Cover Letters and Addressing Selection Criteria.

How can students improve their resumes/CVs?

There are a range of resume resources listed under the Resources (opens in a new window) tab and on our Career & Resume Advice page. In both of these web pages, students and graduates seeking feedback on their resume can submit their resume for review by one of our expert careers consultants.

What overseas opportunities available to students?

CareerHub lists a range of international opportunities, which can be accessed by clicking on the opportunities (opens in a new window) tab and then selecting 'Opportunity Type > Paid - International Role' as the type of work. Careers also runs the International Internship Program, which sends students overseas annually to complete a short term internship with one of our industry partners. These internships are listed also listed under 'opportunities' in CareerHub.

What resources are available to international students?

Careers has a number of resources available for international students, such as Going Global, which is a massive research tool containing more than 45000 resources for finding employment for international students, both at home and abroad. Careers can also assist the career development of our international students through workshops, careers expos and consultations.

What is available for graduate recruitment?

There are a number of recruitment events held on campus such as workshops, expos and company presentations. Students are encouraged to check the Events page for regular updates and also the events tab (opens in a new window) on CareerHub for details. Graduate opportunities are also regularly posted on CareerHub.

What career events and expos are available?

Careers hosts a range of careers expos and events aimed at building the employability of students and providing students with opportunities to network with employers. Are Jobs on Campus available for students?
