The School of Law and Western Sydney University Careers are pleased to announce the return of Law Careers Evening in 2017.
Western Sydney University's Law program emphasises excellence in the acquisition of legal knowledge and skills, including oral presentations, moot courts, negotiations, and drafting work.
The University's School of Law is actively committed to social justice and professional practice, with a strong commitment from its academic staff and the University to serve the community of Greater Western Sydney. As one of Australia's leading law schools, the program offers a particular emphasis on the acquisition of legal knowledge as well as the demonstration of excellence in the area of practical legal skills. The Law School is proud of its achievements including the launch of the Parramatta Community Justice Clinic (PCJC) in 2010. This provided Western Sydney University law students the opportunity of real world experience with the Western Sydney Community Legal Centre in the Local Court at Parramatta.
The Law Careers Evening brings over 100 of the best and brightest law students from Australia's most innovative School of Law. The event allows exhibitors to showcase and promote their clerkships, graduate programs and other employment opportunities. In addition, it allows organisations to increase their profile among students and the Greater Western Sydney community.
