MAY 15Friday, 15 May 2020, 9.30 am - 3.30 pm
Ian and Nancy Auditorium, Building EE
Parramatta South Campus
The School of Humanities and Communication Arts in collaboration with Western Sydney University Careers are pleased to announce the inaugural 2020 Arts Careers Day, 15 May at Parramatta South campus.
Aimed at Arts undergrads who are thinking about their careers and professional futures, Arts Careers Day will give students direct access to industry networks and future employers across a full day of hands-on workshops, presentations, panel discussions, and an industry meet-and-greet. Students will learn about the diverse range of opportunities available to them and how they can mobilise their degrees and skill sets to realise their professional dreams and ambitions. Employers, industry speakers and alumni will share their career journeys and hot tips on how to stand-out in applications and interviews. Experiential workshops will build on these discussions with a focus on employability, networking and career planning. The day will end with an industry meet-and-greet, giving students the opportunity to chat to potential employers about graduate roles andlearn more about industries they may not otherwise considered as career destinations.
We look forward to meeting you at this very exciting collaborative event.
