Getting to uni

Parramatta train station is just a short walk from our Parramatta City campuses.

Buses stop at the Parramatta interchange, a short walk away from our campuses.

Our free shuttle bus takes you between our Parramatta City, Parramatta North and Parramatta South Campuses. Check out the Shuttle Bus Schedule for more information, including live tracking.

We’re at 169 Macquarie Street and 6 Hassall Street in the heart of the Parramatta CBD. There is no on-campus parking but there are nearby secure carparks and street parking available for an hourly rate.

If you prefer to bike it into uni, there are bicycle stands available outside the Peter Shergold Building.

Student Support

Please note, student support services can be accessed via the Course Information Team on level one of Building 1, Parramatta City campus or at the Parramatta South campus. 

Call the 24/7 security hotline on 1300 737 003. Keep your eye out for the many emergency contact points as well. Just press the button and a security officer will be with you in moments.

Western's Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) offer free group study sessions facilitated by experienced students.

Have a question? Throughout your student journey (from enrolments to graduations) Student Services Hub is your first point of contact for information, advice, forms and referrals to other services. For more information check the Student Services Hub webpage.

Sydney Graduate School of Management (SGSM)

Western Sydney University’s acclaimed Sydney Graduate School of Management (SGSM) located at Building 1 (Peter Shergold Building) helps you fast track your career advancement with a range of postgraduate studies.


Engineering Innovation Hub

The ‘Engineering Innovation Hub’ located close to public transport at Building 2, 6 Hassall St Parramatta is home to students studying Architecture, Industrial Design and Masters of Engineering at Western Sydney University and a variety of programs at The College. The campus provides students access to group and individual study areas, labs and super labs, design studios, as well as tech hubs and opportunities to see innovation showcases.


Library

Parramatta City Campus Library provides access to the print and electronic resources you need for your teaching, research and studies. The Library has spaces suitable for individuals and small groups.

Located on the ground floor of our Parramatta City campus building (169 Macquarie Street), mikazuki specialise in modern Japanese cooking inspired by the best from the East and West.

Our drinks are made from high quality tea leaves and selected ingredients shipped directly from Taiwan. All products are 100% guaranteed to arrive fresh and tasty.

We test the tea leaves each growing season and all ingredients from time to time to ensure our drinks’ consistent and quality. Best tea needs the best ingredients and we insist on the best for you!


Chambers Fine Coffee

Located on the ground floor of the Parramatta City campus building (169 Macquarie Street), Chambers Fine Coffee provides great service and a welcoming atmosphere built on having freshly roasted coffee. Serving a range of lunch and breakfast options, chambers boasts using freshly sourced local ingredients and their own signature blend of coffee.

All food and beverages are made to order with gluten free and vegetarian options available.

Piccolo Me

Piccolo Me offers a high quality café style menu as well as a responsible attitude towards local industry and a sustainable future. Coffee is sourced from local roasters and only fair trade organic beans. On our menu you will find, our Nutella bombs, deep fried Nutella ice cream and our famous cheesy frenchy!
