Exciting News: The Campbelltown Early Learning Centre is growing
What’s happening
The Campbelltown Early Learning Centre (ELC) is expanding to meet growing demand and better support our campus community.
Located at the gateway to the University’s Campbelltown campus, the upgraded, purpose‑built centre will increase capacity from 48 to 114 children, providing more families with access to high‑quality early learning on campus.
The project will be delivered in two stages: a Stage 1 extension and a Stage 2 refurbishment of the existing building. Together these will deliver modern, welcoming spaces designed to support learning, play and wellbeing.
Key benefits
- More places for families – increased capacity to support working and studying parents and carers
- Purpose‑built learning environments – vibrant indoor and outdoor spaces that encourage play, creativity and comfort
- Sustainable design – targeting a 5‑Star Green Star rating, supporting the University’s sustainability commitments
- Enhanced learning opportunities – dedicated observation spaces for Early Childhood Education students to support hands‑on, practical learning
- Continuous service delivery – the Early Learning Centre will remain open and accessible throughout construction
