Abstract

Digitalisation has become a trend throughout the last decade and has dominated all industries because of the benefits it provides for businesses in many aspects, such as lowering the cost and increasing the productivity of business procedures. This is not exceptional for construction sector; based on previous research, there are many drivers for this sector to digitalise, for instance, greater accuracy and trustworthiness; improved quality and standards; and more efficient time and budget management. However, the construction industry has been known as one of the least digitalised industries compared to other sectors. Within this research, a policy governance framework will be developed to assess relevant stakeholders in implementing digital tools and guide them in the process of digital transformation.
