Biography
Damith is a passionate Civil Engineering Ph.D. student specialising in Environmental and Geoenvironmental Engineering. His academic background has provided him with a strong foundation in civil engineering principles. His current research focuses on sustainability, climate change and carbon trading facilities, and blockchain. Before his Ph.D., he spent about 15 years working as a Construction and Design Engineer, primarily in Highway Engineering. This hands-on experience provided him with valuable insight into real-world HR and project management practices. He is excited to use his skills to make a positive impact in both academic research and the real-world construction industry. Damith looks forward to contributing to finding solutions for a more sustainable future.
